With this post, I do not even know where to begin. I have known Ethan since he was a newborn and boy he was so teeny tiny. You see….his momma and I have been best friends since we were in the 6th grade. I mean she isn’t just my best friend but my sister from another Momma and I love her so so much! We have had many trials and tribulations in each of our lives and we’ve always been there for one another and I couldn’t be more thankful to have each others hands as we go through life!
Well, her baby boy will turn 18 in a few days and then in a few months he will graduate high school. Like Oh…My…Geez!!!! How can this be?! THEN….he will head off to college in the fall. Oh man. I told her several times during the session “don’t cry!” But, really I was telling myself that! She was fine but I was not. I mean I kept my cool but good heavens that was hard for this mess of a pregnant lady. Seeing the job she has done raising him makes me so proud of her. Ethan is kind, incredibly smart, driven, talented, loving and so many other things…I really could go on and on. He is so much like his mom and I told her the other day that happiness oozes out of him like it does her and I pray that he never loses that. He brings a smile to my face and I know she loves him so. Ethan, I am so proud of you and all the hard work you have done and I know so many amazing things await you in this life.
