Personal – My Home {The Guest Bathroom} :: Part 3

I know you are probably thinking…THE BATHROOM!  Yes, the bathroom.  It is a room in my house and we as humans spend some of our time there.  🙂  With that said, I had to make it as pretty as I could.  This is another room that I did the off-white and white color scheme.  I do not have any intention of painting this room or at least not any time soon because I like how clean it is with the use of minimum colors.  I stuck to pinks, greens and a little bit of peachy tones.  The shower curtains (there are two of them) are Shabby Chic shower curtains that I have had for several years now.  I love them!  The peach wicker cabinet on the wall holds extra wash cloths and hand towels.  It was also my Granny’s (my Great Grandmother) so the only updating I did was add the glass knobs.  My rugs are also pink ruffled Shabby Chic rugs given to me as wedding gifts (there are also two of them but one is drapped over the tub hidden by the curtains).  My towels were all also wedding gifts and I love the textured pink with the dark green towels.  They make a nice contrast.  Other accessories throughout the room consist of old artwork that I purchased or that my Mom gave me.  I also have an old toothbrush holder that fit perfectly in the room.  My Mom and I have lots of Hull, McCoy and Hager pottery throughout our homes.  So, I found my pink Hull dish perfect for some soap!  🙂  The tall, green container with the fleur de lis was given to me by one of my friends as another wedding gift.  It orginally was supposed to go in my kitchen but my upper cabinets are too low.  🙁  But, I think it works great in its home…for now.  When I get the opportunity to have my dream kitchen it will make a move.  Stay tuned for my Guest Bedroom….
